Meet the Owner/Operator


Robert Strickland has extensive experience in the animal industry, dating back to high school. He holds an associate degree in animal science from Berry College and has worked on various ranches across the western and southern U.S., handling cattle, quarter horses, goats, and sheep. After returning to Georgia, Robert deepened his expertise in cattle through work at Coley Ranch, focusing on Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfers. He spent 10 years at Merial LTD in research and development, followed by 8 years at the University of Georgia’s Animal Dairy Science Department. In 2015, Robert began raising Akaushi Wagyu cattle, Texmaster goats, and quarter horses at Strickland Ranch, a 80-acre ranch in Rayle, GA, where he avoids using chemicals on the land.

Grass-Fed Beef

Our Akaushi WAGYU cattle are raised on a diet of lush, green grass which results in tender, flavorful beef. You won't find any feedlots here!
